When supporters (500 or 1000, depending) pre-order books for a project, it receives full funding. Organizations implement their work with professional support. Supporters receive higj-quality documentation of the project they funded.
How Funding Works
Flexible Commitment with Refund Protection
Projects need 1,000 supporters for full funding ($100K project). Campaigns run for up to 6 months with a 3-month checkpoint:
If a project reaches 50% funding (500 supporters) within 3 months:

Implementation begins with available funding (either $50K scaled project or campaign continues to reach full $100K)

Supporters receive complete premium package with physical books
If a project doesn't reach 50% within 3 months:

Campaign pauses and supporters choose what happens next:

Continue commitment - Support scaled micro-project and receive digital documentation

Full refund - Receive complete refund of pre-order payment

Transfer to another project - Move commitment to different project (Story of Helping suggests projects close to funding)
