Prolonged conflict in Sagaing and Magway has devastated household incomes. Farmers who once fed their families and sold surplus at market have lost access to their fields. Livestock that represented years of savings have been killed or abandoned in flight. Families who built small businesses now survive on emergency aid—when it comes at all.
But these are not people without skills. They're farmers who know their soil. Weavers whose mothers taught them patterns their grandmothers knew. Tailors. Traders. People who built lives from nothing before and can do it again—if they have the chance.
This project gives them that chance. Cash assistance to get seeds in the ground. Starter livestock to rebuild herds. Training and seed capital for women and youth to start small enterprises. Not charity, but investment in people who know how to work.
